Darkfoxx Den

Time for a little update. But be warned this will be a boring one. No art, no pictures, cool links, or anything at all. Just one stupid little poll to replace the previous one made by Senjin. (over thar ------> )

The end result of that was that most of you are desperately waiting for a new Darkfoxx Masterpiece Of Great Beauty, or at least cared enough for my amateur scribblings to vote to poke me.

Believe me, my little sister can do better. For real. She's studying art in Berlin, and all I have is a little art history in middle school and some books on manga drawing techniques... so that's not too suprising :3

Anyway, I have not been drawing (sorry to disappoint but lazy fox) but I've been very busy with model crafts. Ya know, scale models of cool stuff, like tanks and such :) But then, in Open Sim. Nice and cheap, no kits and glue and paint to be bought :)

Many little models have been made, and are being made, and all of them still need better textures. I continued the little series I started back on Second Life, where it began with a 10 (SL) meters long model of the Bismarck, then a German WW2 type submarine followed, a modern day aircraft carrier with F-14's, an airship modeled after the famous Hindenburg and some coastal defences... I uploaded those all to Open Sim, and there I have a Sherman tank and a Stuka I'm currently working on, a DC-3 and Lockheed P-38 will follow afterward. A harbor complete with cranes as scenery for the ship models, and two hangars for the blimps are already in place at the bay of my two sims :)

I wanted to make some pictures and upload them but I decided to wait until the whole diorama is finished with all the models in place and textured.

So for now you'll have to make due with the poll :)

(PS I'm a pacifist. I like the technology of weapons, not their intended purpose.)(I only like their intended purpose when no living thing is hurt in any way. Like demolishing a building with a tank instead of a crane or sniping paper targets. or just shooter game awesomeness :3)
